Osakikamijima Island is in the center of the Seto Inland Sea and is not connected to the Honshu main island by bridge. The hotel sits on the hill of the southeast of the island. From all the fifty-five rooms, the breathtaking panoramic view of the sea can be seen. The scenery from the outdoor bath is so gorgeous that you might feel as if you were floating between the sea below your eyes and the blue sky above your head.
Hot spring water is salty and keeps your body warm for a long time. Your skin will surely become silkier.
The cuisine is another feast. The rich taste of sea bream sashimi is amazing, as the fish is caught every morning and kept in a tank filled with the water pumped up from 15 meters under the sea to keep the fish in a stress-free condition. Sashimi has no fishy smell.
At the lounge, cocktails prepared by the bartender who worked at Tokyo Imperial Hotel for 41 years are highly recommended.
