The approximate 2.4-kilometer coastline features a white sand beach and vibrant green pinetrees. This coastline offers one of the best beaches in West Japan. From late-April to early-May, the Rainbow Koinobori (carp streamer) Project is hosted for the recovery and memory of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. The colorful carp streamers, swimming
in the ocean breeze, is a striking site. The coast is also particularly beautiful from July to August, when it is lit up with rainbow lights.
