One of the longest established Shingon sect temples and the seventh spot on the Izumo pilgrimage route. The Unshu style Japanese garden, which was designed by the seventh feudal lord, commonly known as Fumai Mastudaira, is well known. On a fine weather day, Lake Shinji and Shimane Peninsula can be overlooked from the top of Mt, Mineji Misen.
