Kumano boasts Japan’s biggest production of brushes, which are registered as an official traditional craft. At the museum, Fudenosato Kobo, visitors can see the history and special features of brushes made in Kumano and enjoy the shop. They can try some of the 1,500 types of brushes selected among those made by 32 workshops. At the Shinkansen gate of Hiroshima station, there is a branch shop. Please drop in to find your favorite.
