Visitors can learn how villages and people’s lives in the Kibi Highland area were from the Kamakura era (1185-1333) to Muromachi era (1336- 1573), through scrolled paintings and excavated materials. Farmer’s houses, a market and mountain castle are reproduced based on historical studies. TV dramas and movies are shot here.
