There are around 100 varieties of pufferfish, many of which are unique to Shimonoseki! Also, one of the highlights is seeing penguins in their natural state at the “Penguin House.” Seeing them swimming together as a group is bound to make an impression. In addition, there’s a show with rare dolphins and seals, a performance by beluga whales where they blow “bubble rings” from their mouths, and much more. It’s a place where children and adults can enjoy themselves.
