The museum owns the largest number of masterpieces of Taikan Yokoyama, a great master of modern Japanese paintings. The museum is also renowned for spacious Japanese gardens, which have been ranked as the best by the American publication “The Journal of Japanese Gardening”. They are really worth seeing. You can have double pleasure viewing the paintings and the gardens.
