The parade reproduces an important historical event; the first entry of Yoshiharu Horio, founder of the domain, and his retainers (musha) to the castle. More than 200 citizens disguised as warriors and princesses in colorful kimono walk around the city towards the castle. The annual event draws lots of tourists.
