The festival is held in Saijo, one of Japan’s three biggest sake producers. Visitors can choose and taste sake from among 1,000 different brands from all over the country. At Sake Hiroba (Square), Bishu-nabe, a local hot pot dish can be enjoyed. Music concerts and various events are also held at sake breweries along the Sakagura street.
