It is chosen as one of the three most beautiful pagodas in Japan. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the pagoda and the Japanese garden all year round; cherry blossoms in spring, colorful leaves in autumn and snow in winter. It is said to be Japan’s tenth oldest five-storied pagoda. At night it has a different view from the daytime, as it is illuminated.
At Saikotei pavilion, which was favored by important politicians and novelists as a long-established restaurant, visitors have an opportunity to wear kimono. Please enjoy exploring the grounds in kimono.
