The name, literally meaning eagle-wing- mountain, derives from its shape which looks like an eagle with wings spread out. From the summit “Shoshuho” with the altitude of 133 meters, the spectacular view of 50 islands of various sizes dotting the sea and the fabulous Seto Ohashi Bridge can be enjoyed.
