Rocks were eroded by the rapid water current of the Omaki River, a branch of the Kihi River, for a long period of time and became a 2.3 km large-scale ravine. Visitors can enjoy a variety of scenery, such as sharp cliffs along the river and folded and piled up rocks on the bottom of the valley. The view is designated as a special scenic site and a natural monument by the government.
Recently an enormous rock draws attention, as the shape looks like a rock “Shitoiwa”, which appears in a blockbuster movie “Devil’s Blade”
