Ito Museum

The museum exhibits historical materials related to Japan’s’ first prime minister, Mr. Ito.

Mr. Hirobumi Ito was born and spent childhood days in Hikari (formally Daiwa-cho). Visitors can see a house where he was born and learn his life through displayed artifacts and a movie. The annexed memorial hall was designed by himself.

In autumn, colored maple leaves are beautiful.
