You can enjoy Japanese sweets at the teahouse, immersing yourself in a traditional atmosphere. Botebote-cha tea, a foamy tea mixed with red rice and beans, is one of the local specialties. The authentic way of drinking it is by tapping the bottom of bowl to gather the ingredients and gulping them all without using chopsticks. Tokoroten (jelly extracted from seaweed) and shaved ice are perfect for summer. Freshly roasted Bubudango dumplings are a recommendation, too.
