The former fan-shaped locomotive depot, built in 1936, was refurbished to display locomotive cars, turntables and wheels of steam locomotives. Visitors can learn the history of the railways of Okayama and the structure of locomotives through hands-on experiences. The former depot prides itself as the second largest among remaining Japanese depots. Everyone from kids to adults can have fun.
