The souls of Susanoono-mikoto who defeated Yamatano-orochi(eight-headed, eight-tailed serpent), his wife, Kushinada-hime and their parents are enshrined. It is believed that visitors are blessed with good relationships, offering prosperity and a safe, happy life. The small shrine built deep in the mountain and surrounded with greenery induces a mysterious atmosphere, so the place draws attention as a power spot.
