The Chofu Garden is the former residence of Yukinaga Nishi, a retainer in Chofu’s Mori clan. This tranquil
garden on a 7.6-acre site is set against a small mountain and still contains its original central pond,
traditional Japanese study, teahouse building and pavilion.
Dressing in a kimono and walking through the garden is a wonderful way to enjoy a perfect traditional
Japanese experience. Chofu Garden has an extensive collection of kimonos for you to choose from.
