Rituals and a service for Yakushi Buddha are held at Misasa Shinto Shrine. Children in traditional costumes and participants carrying palanquins walk around. The festival finishes with a tug of war. The huge rope is braided on the previous day. The winning of the east team brings a big catch of fish and the victory of the west team invites successful business.
