The festival is a reproduction of “Senteisai”; which is held to grieve the spirits of the deceased members of the Heike Clan who lost the Genpei Battle, and the “Ganryu-jima Duel” between two famous sword masters; Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki. Visitors have great opportunities to enjoy colorful events.
