The garden is known as one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. Visitors can be seated on the spacious ground covered with green grass to have a picnic, while enjoying the nice view of cherry blossoms and Okayama Castle as a backdrop. The trees near the south gate look like a big waterfall, as they are lined up along the river bank.

How to get there:

1.Take a bus at JR Okayama station and get off at Korakuen-mae-shita in 10 minutes.

2.Take a street car at JR Okayama station, get off at Shiro-shita and walk for 10 minutes
