Aquas, Shimane Prefectural Aquarium

The aquarium enjoys great popularity due to the belugas’ performance of blowing bubble rings.

In a big tank, visitors can watch sharks which are closely tied to mythology of the Shimane area. More than 10,000 creatures of 400 species also await you. The belugas’ bubble ring show is a big attraction.

OPEN:Open from 9:00～17:00 (last entry is 15:30)※Open from 9:00 to 18:00 from July 20 to August 31 (last entry is 16:30)

CLOSED:Closed on Tuesday, but when it falls on a national holiday, it is closed on the following day.※It is not closed during the Golden Week, spring and summer breaks for students.
