Japan’s first yokai museum, officially known as the Yumoto Koichi Memorial JAPAN YOKAI MUSEUM (Miyoshi Mononoke Museum), opened in April 2019 in Miyoshi. Yokai can be spirits, physical beasts, demons or gods, or even supernatural phenomena. Picture scrolls, pottery and other carefully selected items from approximately 5,000 objects of a yokai-themed collection are displayed with a respective yokai story, <<Ino Mononoke Roku>>set in Miyoshi City. In TeamLab Yokai Park, yokai designed by visitors to the museum come to life on the screen!? Experience, learn and immerse yourself in an interactive yokai exhibit.
