The bridge which spans the Misasa River at Misasa Hot-Spring was a location in the movie ‘Koitani Bridge”.

A ceramic frog and ema (wooden tablets) are placed at the center of the bridge. It is believed that your wish of love is realized after you gently pat the frog known as “Lovers’ Frog”. Please come and write down your wish on a tablet, touching the frog.

Ema are available at hotels, the information center and shops at Misasa Hot Spring.
