The French Renaissance style residence was built in 1907 at the site of Ougi Palace as a villa of Duke Nakahiro Ikeda, former feudal lord of Tottori Clan. Items related to the duke and historical documents of the Ikeda family are exhibited in the building.
In spring, the elegant structure and cherry blossoms at the annexed Hisamatsu Park create a fabulous contrast.
